Commemorative fan, with a paper leaf printed from an illustration by Louise Abbéma.
In the centre, an elegant lady in a white dress personifies France and carries the flag. On the left are the Opéra and the coat of arms of the city of Paris, and on the right a view of the harbour of Toulon with the Russian fleet which arrived on 13 October 1893 to celebrate the Franco-Russian alliance.
