Red sultane, Chinese fan, 19th century
Fan with red silk leaf
Black and gold lacquered bamboo sticks ang guards. The guards called “sultane” (when sticks come back on the main side), hollowed out at the gorge and decorated with painted silk.
Good condition (small tears and stains, incomplete)
