Fernique: this refers to the lithographer and publisher Charles Antoine Fernique, who was active from 1847 (and until 1851 under his father André Simon Fernique’s licence) to 1869, and whose business address was 15 Rue de Clichy in Paris.

The MET holds a similar print, attributed to the lithographers Marmignat and Jannin but located at the same publisher, A. Croizet, 15 Rue de Clichy (so Fernique?!), as well as one at the Carnavalet Museum, attributed to Fernique and Deblezer at the same address but without Croizet specified.
