The SS Imperator is a transatlantic liner, built in the years 1911/13 for the Hamburg America Line. Considered as the biggest liner of its time (280 m), it was given by Germany as war damage to the Cunard Line and took the name of SS Berengaria. It crossed the Atlantic from Europe to New York from 1913-21 under the German flag and from 1921 to 1938 under the British flag.
