Le Vrai Arbre Robinson was the first guinguette created in Robinson in 1848, "named Au Grand Robinson, which in 1888 became Le Vrai Arbre de Robinson, to distinguish itself from its competitors, and in particular from Le Grand Arbre located just across the street on rue de Malabry. Le Vrai Arbre's main asset is without doubt the imposing chestnut tree in which Joseph Gueusquin had the idea of setting up cabins.
Here, customers can have lunch without being bothered by waiters, as meals are brought directly to them in baskets thanks to a clever pulley system. The establishment also boasts a large ballroom, a restaurant and attractions such as swings to keep visitors entertained." ref : https://www.plessis-robinson.com/les-guinguettes-de-robinson
