A large fan, the gauze panel painted with children after teatime.
A little girl, accompanied by her mother, is on her way home after a game of shuttlecock. She walks past a bench where several children are laughing and squabbling over a doll. Some children are crying, one little girl appears to be praying

Tinted mother-of-pearl sticks and guards, the main guard is adorned with small children’s heads (in brass or bronze?), reminiscent of Jean who laughs and Jean who cries
Condition: relined, small stains, one stick and one guard restored
