A “cabriolet” fan with two registers of leaves in the 18th century style

The gouache-painted skin leaves depict couples strolling in the countryside, one of them driving a horse-drawn carriage called a “cabriolet”.

Engraved and painted blond horn sticks and guards decorated with roses and inlaid with white mother-of-pearl lozenges.

Good condition (small mother-of-pearl chips)
