Fan with a fine skin leaf depicting a festive scene at the signing of a marriage contract, after Watteau's painting.
Signed E. Lièvre for the French painter Edouard Lièvre (1828-1886)
On the reverse, the initials ZB in bloom.
Delicate mother-of-pearl sticks and guards, the central medallion recalling Watteau's embarkation for Cythère.
Condition: two strands restored (one with synthetic reinforcement), as well as the two plume tops.
