Fan, with a skin leaf, painted in shades of blue, juxtaposing European pastoral scenes with Chinese-inspired motifs. With a border of flowers accented with gold, reminiscent of the work of the Compagnie des Indes.
Blue-tinted sticks painted with flowers; the guards are carved and engraved with chinoiserie motifs.
Overall condition is fair (a few stains and tears wit restorations on leaf, paint slightly faded along the sticks).
