Fan, the finely engraved skin leaf of Le Triomphe de Galaté [Triumph of Galatea], based on  the etching created in 1695 by the painter Antoine Coypel and the engraver Charles Simonneau, dedicated to Monseigneur Philippe d'Orléans, Duc de Chartres.

Sticks and guards engraved, painted and inlaid with white mother-of-pearl.

Condition: incomplete, some mother-of-pearl pieces are missing, restorations on leaf with repaints
