The skin leaf, mounted à l'anglaise style, is painted with three cartouches: in the center, the abduction of the beautiful Helen by Paris, framed by gallant scenes in the style of Watteau.
The borders and ornamentation with floral and plant motifs are Chinese work. The same is true of the reverse side of the leaf.
Very fine and delicate sticks and guards, pierced, carved, engraved, painted, and varnished. Work of the Compagnie des Indes.
Good condition (small stains, minor damage to the sticks, old restoration to the guard).
