Ivory fan, the sticks and guards are finely sculpted, carved, painted, varnished and applied with gold foils and mother of pearl .

The skin leaf is painted, reverse is paper. When the fan is folded up, we can see a flower on top of leaf, the mark of parisians fan makers

Condition : tears and restorations on leaf, some mother of pearl pieces are missing, old restorations on a guard and one stick
